Home / How it works
Your in-home assessment: what to expect
A licensed installer visits, measures your home and explains your options. Allow about 45 minutes.
Discount applied on your quote, paperwork handled
ARCtick refrigerant and REC electrical licences
Fixed price, itemised, no pressure to decide on the day
Workmanship warranty and servicing by the installing team
What to expect on the day
The person who visits holds the licences to install the system, so what is promised at your kitchen table is what arrives on installation day.
We listen first
Which rooms are uncomfortable, how the house is used, what is installed now and when you need a decision.
We measure your home
Room sizes, insulation, roof space, existing ductwork, switchboard capacity and the best outdoor unit position.
We explain your options
Usually two or three, with what each costs to run and which one we would choose for your home.
You get a clear, written quote
Equipment, inclusions, exclusions, any discount and your final price. No pressure to decide on the day.
Installed carefully, cleaned up after
You know who is coming and when. Handover ends with the controller in your hand and the paperwork in your inbox.
How to prepare
Access to rooms
Every room you want heated or cooled, plus the roof space and switchboard.
Plans or a recent bill
A floor plan or energy bill helps us size and estimate running costs.
Your priorities
Quiet bedrooms, smart controls, appearance or running costs. Tell us what matters.
Everyone who decides
If someone else shares the decision, it helps if they can be there.
Reschedule or cancel
Plans change. Call us, reply to your confirmation text or email us and we will find another time. There is no charge to reschedule or cancel.
What the assessment costs
Nothing. It is how we prepare an accurate, written quote, and there is no obligation to go ahead.
What our customers say
Reviews are published with permission, with the customer's name, suburb and month.
“He measured every room and explained why the smaller unit was the right one. The invoice matched the quote.”
“Drop sheets down, cable covers on, and they showed us photos of the roof space before and after.”
“No pressure at all. We compared three quotes and this was the one where we understood what we were paying for.”
